Christened as ‘the Mercedes me Store Markham’, this new, state-of-the-art store has been designed to provide consumers with an extremely novel experience, comprising personalized interaction. Not to mention, the location of the store being within the confines of an already established commercial center is an all-together new concept for Mercedes Benz, which seems to be one of the many aspects grabbing eyeballs in this entire store launch scenario.
Philipp von Witzendorff, the Vice President & Head of the Toronto Retail Operations of Mercedes-Benz in Canada, was quoted stating that the company is rather excited regarding this new retail launch, given that it is a novel way to reach out to more customers. The store has been designed to welcome consumers, answer their doubts and queries with regards to the brand, check out the latest models and features, or merely browse for contemporary accessories that are a part of the Mercedes Benz Collection. In effect, it would seem as though the automaker has been attempting to penetrate the depths of consumer behavior, their likes & dislikes, perceptions, and views regarding the brand, which it would decipher from the customers who would visit the CF Markville.
The automotive market giant intends to have at least around five to six of its latest automobiles on display at the store. In addition, Mercedes Benz will sell certain selected items from the company’s collection. If reports are to be believed, Mercedes Benz MBM (Malaysia Sdn Bhd) has formed an alliance with Auto Commerz Sdn Bhd, aiming to jointly invest around MYR 10 milllion over the next 24 months. The investment has been strategically planned with a view to strengthen the automaker’s presence in Malaysia.
For the record, the Mercedes me Store Markham is spread over an area of 5,600 square foot and is located on the second level of CF Markville. The retail space is an intrinsic part of the Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group, as is proclaimed by the company’s officials.
